I’ve been pushing myself lately to learn and work with as many new technologies as I possibly can, in order to curate the ideal toolkit for me when it comes to building websites and digital systems.

One thing I have been debating with myself over that past few months is the relevance of CSS libraries such as Less and Sass (SCSS). I challenged myself to build an online system following a great Udemy course using SCSS, of which I found really useful and opened up new doors when writing CSS code.

Since taking the course, I have been using SCSS quite a lot across many different projects and I have to say that I love it! It’s much more than just writing CSS. SCSS allows us to create powerful design systems that have reusability across many different projects.

A design system will allow me to build even more attractive looking sites, but also with cleaner, more constructive CSS code.
